Finance Executive

The Account Executive is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the finance department with various accounting tasks. This role involves maintaining financial statements, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company polices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Prepare and submit tax filings and other regulatory documents.
  • Conduct periodic account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Any ad hoc duty assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Executive, or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
